  1. The Obedience of Philip
Philip received Divine guidance in general terms. He didn't know where, when or what...but he followed God's directives.
"God's guidance is almost always most evident where there is a willingness to obey." ~ David Williams
  2. The Prepared Soil/Soul
God had been seeking this African official and he had been responding to God's wooing. God knows how to align good soil with people who sow seed.
(Regarding this man's struggle and hope, see Deut. 23:1 and Isaiah 56:3-5).
  3. The Approach of Philip
Sensitive to the Spirit and respectful of the Ethiopian, Philip asked a simple question.
    Some tips for ambassadors...
    • Don't be ashamed of the gospel.
    • Pray and offer yourself to God.
    • Walk with God...listen for His leadings.
    • Remember the principles of "capacity and appetite."
    • Use questions.
  4. The Word of God
Philip started where the man was, not where he could have been or even should have been. God starts with all of us — where we are.
Eventually, we must get to the Word...but we must start where people are.

Conclusion

We are not all evangelists but we are all ambassadors/representatives of Christ. God's desire is to redeem and restore all people. Let's join Him.
