1. The Re-Arrest
   Without protest and without resistance the apostles went to “court.” Their confidence in God’s power and presence resulted in a “patient cheerfulness.”

   2. Teaching "their doctrine." (2 Corinthians 2:14-16)
   3. Pronouncing Guilt
3. The Response
   1. The First Big Thing
      "We should obey God rather than men."
   2. The Second Big Thing
      Proclamation of the "basic gospel" by way of contrast.
      1. God raised up Jesus ... whom you murdered.
      2. God exalted Jesus ... whome you reject.
      3. God provided a clear witness ... whom you resist (Hebrews 3:7,8)
      4. "SO, REPENT..." receive the forgiveness of sins and the Holy Spirit.

Conclusion

There are big things and there are small things. If we get the big things wrong, the small things will be really off!
